Previously uncatalogued — recovered by the 2026-08-27 coverage audit: the document lay inside the declared span of a grouped entry covering n429-n449, which had passed every completeness check while concealing it. Heading verbatim: 'Junio 5. pp. 618-20 (4 doc.)' [= June 5 [1818], pp. 618-20, 4 documents. Same running heading, drafts from the Governor to the Viceroy.] Register of four drafts. The heading and the first abstract sit on n449: 'Acompana memorial de Cirujo Manuel Quijano quien solicita retiro del servicio con uso de uniforme' (encloses the memorial of the surgeon Manuel Quijano, who asks retirement from the service with the use of the uniform). The block's tail runs over to the top of n450: 'Acompana Memoriales de Tents. Franco. M. Ruiz y Jose Ma. Estudillo, solicitando grado de Capitan' (encloses the memorials of Lieutenants Francisco Maria Ruiz and Jose Maria Estudillo soliciting the rank of Captain). That tail IS described in record d758, but d758's declared range is p.IX:620-631, so the block's heading, its page cite and its first document have no record anywhere. The officer-promotion memorials of Ruiz and Estudillo and the surgeon Quijano's retirement request are useful for the Monterey officer corps and the province's single medical officer.
