Ant.o, que todo resultó de hallarse él y la mas de su gente enfermos, la recua en continuo movimiento y que pensaba no se seguiria ningun trastorno en ello, entregándole al cabo Castro la India” [= admits he wrongly detained Higuera, who was to take the Indian woman to San Antonio; pleads sickness and the pack-train in constant motion; the woman was given to cpl. Castro instead].
