Spans n296-n297. Defence against a charge over China goods. Verbatim: 'respecto del cargo que se le hace de haber pagado por algunos soldados de su Comp.a unos efectos venidos de China, lo hizo á la vista de tanto como mortifica á su tropa con tanto trabajo, y que ninguno de ellos deja de tener el correspondiente alcance'. Gloss: as to the charge that he paid on behalf of some soldiers of his company for goods come from China, he did so seeing how hard-worked and mortified his troop is, and none of them lacks the corresponding credit balance.
