Verbatim heading: '1827 Set. 19 Mont. / Comisario Herrera - á Comisario Gen. Sobre internacion de armas importadas - Consultas con el Ministº de Hacªa' English gloss: Herrera to the Comisario General on the internment of imported arms, and on his unanswered enquiries to the Ministry of Hacienda. Substance: acknowledges the oficio de 6 de Junio último enclosing the supreme determination that the maritime customs retain any armament arriving with the object of being interned, until the Cámaras resolve the point. He says he had NOT received that resolution direct from the Ministerio de Hacienda as the Comisario General supposed; that since he has been in the post (mas de 2 años) he has had notice of direct official communications from the Ministry on no more than 6 occasions; and that on the contrary he has not even had an answer to several consultas 'en asuntos de suma importa.'
