Order of the general government of 11 April: the powers laws grant governors 'para vigilar sobre las oficinas de Hac.da' may be exercised also in the maritime and frontier customs houses, 'comunicando de preferencia al Sup.mo Gob.o cuanto practicaren en desempeno de sus atrib.nes y cualq.a otra cosa que adviertan digna de reforma'; and 'la vigilancia que deben tener los espresados Gob.res en las Aduanas maritimas, la ejerceran por si y no la cometeran a empleados de menor graduacion que los gefes superiores de Hacienda.'
