Que ya da órdenes de qe se le pague y procurará informarse si son ciertos los desórdenes qe denuncia pa remediarlos' — acknowledges Gonzales's report that the Revenue officer refused his salary (not for lack of funds, given the ships in the roadstead); the Comandante & Habilitado are the chief merchants, admit whalers without tonnage, disorders territory-wide; orders payment and will investigate.
