'Le dice que falta al órden, pues las quejas de los infelices deben comunicársele

Departmental Records, tomo IV–VI (Books 16–20, 27–32) · BANC MSS C-A 47, document 526

'Le dice que falta al órden, pues las quejas de los infelices deben comunicársele... que no hay estrañeza ni desarreglo en aceptar el convite de un buque y brindar recíprocamente por la propia nacion y por la agena si no es enemiga, como él lo ha hecho ya... y que es menester saber ser patriotas, sino impropiamente nos titularemos mejicanos' — reprimand: complaints must come through proper channels; there is nothing improper in accepting a ship's invitation and toasting both one's own and a friendly foreign nation, as Echeandía himself has done; a lecture on true patriotism.
