«Dice remite una copia de Rl Orden sobre el abono que por el Fondo Piadoso debe hacer á cada micionero que pase á estas miciones; y que subsista la prevencion de que solo por el Virrey debe determinarse su salida de esta peninsula.» — Fages forwards a royal order on the Pious Fund stipend owed each missionary sent to the Californias, and reaffirms that ONLY the viceroy may authorise a missionary's departure from the peninsula.
