Abstract: 'Gonzales à Fages: acusa recibo de su oficio de 7 de Febrero, contestacion à la renuncia que hiso de su empleo, y se queja de no haber recibido sueldos vencidos.' Full text follows: he got Fages's reply to his representación of 11 Dec.; asks the sueldos vencidos he needs 'para mi mantencion'; only last month Tte Dn José de Zúñiga sent him 100 pesos, 'estos no alcansan para medio cubrir'. Ends (n137) that the interim frontier post cannot suit him 'à menos de que no quiera correr con la habilitacion de mi compañía, ó con la de Santa Barbara, y no ignora US. que siempre he tenido repugnancia à intereses.'
