On Fages's order of 28 Oct. that tallow and hides be entered separately when Royal cattle are butchered: he is fully aware of it, but 'la causa, de no haberlo ejecutado, es, que absolutamente no sea verificado' — of the three 'partidas de Ganado' received since he came to these frontiers, 'y sean distribuido 56 Reses, no se ha visto, que hayan Producido lo mas mínimo de este Efecto, y no tan solamente de untos, pero ni aun carne se les encuentran, y solo han producido los Cueros.'
