Virrey Conde de Revilla Gigedo, orden of 20 April: notwithstanding his order of 6 Feb., 'que no se haga novedad en la ejaccion del descuento, para el Monte Pio, de los sueldos que gosen los oficiales residaros' [retirados]; suspend the refund, effective only for reintegro of deductions suffered for invalids; sergeants, cabos and soldiers with invalid status 'han de percibir su haber sin rebaja alguna para este fondo'. To be made known to all interested, dispersos and those attached to companies, through their captains.
