Notice to the peninsular commander of the Fages→Romeu handover and of Romeu's accounts commission. '(Monterey)' is Savage's own parenthetical gloss and looks mistaken: the addressee Arrillaga commanded Loreto, and the decree of the same date orders entry 'pr. el Presº. de Loreto'.
