On building outside the Los Angeles ejido (heading: 'no se permita fabricar fuera del H.o del pueblo'): 'cuando fui, al fin del Año ant.or, á el, encontre ocho casas p.r fuera, que sin haver sido de mi conocim.to crei, que havia sido con el Sup.or premiso de U.S., por que me dijo Vicente Feliz, que U.S. y havia visto tres casas, cuando pasava por alli, comunicandome que havian de formar en calles.' Also: comisionado Vicente Feliz fell ill; Alf. Pablo Cota let him go to San Gabriel to be cured and left all charges to 'el Alc.de José Vanegas'. Doc spans n121-n122.
