Authorized by the Asamblea Departamental (decree of 13 April) to pay mission debts and raise 'recursos que sirvan á la defenza comun en caso de una invasion extrangera, que segun datos recientes se halla muy proxima de suceder'; Arnaz had advanced the govt $12,000. 'Venta real y efectiva enagenacion perpetua p.a siempre.' Conditions: 1ª pay the mission's justified creditors within a year; 2ª maintain the P. Ministro's subsistence, clothing, rooms and divine worship; 3ª no claim of 'lesion enorme'; 4ª lands = 'la laguna Huenemó, el Palo Alto, los de siembras de Sta Paula, la Cañada de la Mis.n' and all not already granted by just title.
