Spans n267-n269. Two charges. (1) Why he did not enforce 'la ordenanza del Sr Teniente de 30 de Abril' passing soldado Vicente Solis to the San Juan Capistrano escolta while soldado Juan Alvarez stayed, and whether as cabo he should have made him go 'a fuerza de espada o lo puso preso por desovediente y de poca subordinacion'. (2) Why he ignored the R.R.P.P.'s petitions 'sobre lo licenciosos que estan los soldados de su cargo y segun es constante han azotado a un gentil porque se nego a ensenarles donde estaban las mugeres, presisandole p.a q.e les entregara una y por miedo lo ejecuto'; who these men are, and whether the same men took the gentiles' deer hides.
