Only the opening formula falls on this leaf, at the very foot

State Papers, Sacramento, tomo VI–IX · BANC MSS C-A 55, document 324

Only the opening formula falls on this leaf, at the very foot: 'Luego incontinenti en dicho mes y ano el Sargento Fran.co de Aguiar' - i.e. the diligencia executing Fr. Cruzado's surrender of soldado Juan Angel Amarillas. Body continues on n272, which is outside this chunk and was NOT read here. Rowed at its anchor leaf so it is not lost; whoever catalogs n272 should fold the body into this row rather than open a second one. Date 'en dicho mes y ano' inherits from the 19 June 1777 reply immediately above; day not independently stated.
