Legislative Records, tomo I · BANC MSS C-A 59, document 70

Previously uncatalogued — recovered by the 2026-08-27 coverage audit: the document lay inside the declared span of a grouped entry covering n322-n341, which had passed every completeness check while concealing it. Heading verbatim: 'Pronunciamiento de S. Diego contra el Gefe Pol. y Comte Gen. D. Man. Victoria en 29. de Novre y 1 de Dic. 1831 / also in Vallejo - Doc. T. 283 / Pico - Doc. T. 7-8' [= Pronouncement of San Diego against the Jefe Politico and Comandante General Don Manuel Victoria on 29 November and 1 December 1831. Also in Vallejo, Documentos, Tomo 283; Pico, Documentos, Tomo 7-8.] Not a document but a FINDING-AID ENTRY in Savage's hand, written on an otherwise blank verso facing the start of the Plan. It is decisive corroboration that the Plan begins at n340 and not at n322, and it supplies two cross-collection concordances the catalog does not currently carry (Vallejo Documentos T. 283; Pico Documentos T. 7-8) plus a second date, 1 December 1831, for the re-adoption. I flag the '1 de Dic.' reading: the ordinal mark after the 1 is not clearly legible. The Vallejo and Pico tome numbers are read as written and should be re-verified against those collections before publication.
