- Previously read One record dated 1793-03-13 and attributed to the viceroy, spanning orig. pp. 256–259.. Leaf-verified 2026-10-06 (n277). Savage marks TWO separate register entries with his own entry signs: a printed military-fuero cédula of «1793 – Febrero 23 – Aranjuez. El Rey á las autoridades de Indias», ordered observed by the viceroy on 22 May 1793, at pp. 256–7; and «1793 – Marzo 13 – México. Revilla Gigédo á Vancouver» at pp. 258–9.
The originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
