SESSION ACTA Heading verbatim: 'o 1834 = Junio 19 = Mont. / Diputacion Provincial, Concesion de terrenos &ª' [= 1834, June 19, Monterey. Provincial Deputation. Concession of lands, etc.] Previous acta read and approved. ⭐⭐ Expediente decreeing in favour of C. Mariano G. Vallejo by the Gefatura Política 'el terreno llamado Petalumas por la parte del Norte de Sn Franco', sent up for the Corporación's approval (to the comisiones unidas de Colonización y terrenos baldíos). ⭐ Expediente of C. Manuel Ximeno Casarin on the sitio he presently holds, 'llamado Salsipuedes', with a representación to the Gefe Político asking that the approval of the Exma Diputación Territorial fall on his right and that he be given possession conformably to an accompanying plano of the sitio (same commissions). FIRST READINGS: the comisiones unidas de Gobº y propios y arbitrios returning the Sn José alcalde's oficio on the corridas de ganado y caballada mostrencos; the same on his oficio about the vecinos' refusal to attend the community rodeos; the Comisión de Gobierno y Policía on the Sta Bárbara alcalde's consulta about foreigners and the mecánicas del Pueblo; and the first commission returning the bando de policía agreed by the Ayuntamiento of this Capital (referred on the 3rd of last month) together with the Sn José alcalde's papers (referred on the 17th of this month). SECOND READINGS: the Gobº y policía dictamen on Dn Tomas Yorva, set down for discussion at the following session; and the reglamento interior project, likewise held over. LAND GRANTS CONFIRMED: the dictamen of the comisiones unidas de Colonización y terrenos valdíos on the grant to C. David Sitlion of 'el paraje llamado los Carneros' concluded with the article 'Se aprueba la comision hecha al C David Sitlion del terreno nombrado los Carneros Concedido en 13 de Mayo de 834 y artº 5º del reglamento de 21 de Nbre de 828' - APPROVED; and the grant to C. Salvio Pacheco of 'el parage del monte del Diablo', 'concedido en 10 de Junio de 1834 de entera conformidad con lo prevenido en la ley de 18 de Agosto de 824 y el artº 5 del Reglamento de 21 de Nbre de 828' - APPROVED. Finally an oficio of C. José Antº Estudillo, vocal, asking two months' temporary leave to go to the Puerto de San Diego for careful treatment of his eyes, in which he is ill, and to settle business dealings with several individuals requiring his presence; to the Comisión de Gobº, with Sr Castro added to it. Session adjourned.
