Legislative Records, tomo III–IV · BANC MSS C-A 61, document 187

Previously uncatalogued — recovered by the 2026-08-27 coverage audit: it lay inside the span of a grouped entry covering n156-n190, which satisfied every coverage check while concealing it. Heading verbatim: '+ 1845. Junio 23. Angˢ / (Sesion de este dia.)' [= 1845, June 23, Los Angeles. Session of this day.] Second reading of the terrenos dictamen on the grant of six sitios de ganado mayor in the jurisdiction of Sonoma to Juan Vioget, approved. First reading of the dictamen on the Stokes and Ortega petition for Pamo and Sta. Isabel. An expediente drawn up by the Juzgado 1º of Los Angeles by order of the Asamblea on the faults alleged in Machado's representation. The President urges the commission charged with the political division of the Department and the arrangement of authorities to press the matter forward as indispensable to the administration of justice in the northern districts. C. Valle states that, the critical circumstances that caused the Suplente Diputados to be summoned having ceased, he asks leave to retire; a long discussion follows and on a vote the President and Botello vote for approval, Figueroa, Camillo (Carrillo) and Noriega against.
