In today's session the Junta Dep.l approved the dictamen: 'La frontera del Norte comenzó á tener su título en 1833 ó 34, en cuya época se estableció como Comand.a militar independiente, dándole por límites todo el terreno que dividen el p.to de S. Fran.co, bahía de S. Pablo y estrecho de Carquinez hácia el norte del Territ.o'; there being too few individuals of the civil fuero to establish the respective authorities, those settled in that part are subject to the military authority without losing the rights their fuero grants. It therefore approves the Jefe Superior Politico's providencia and disapproves the alcalde auxiliar de la frontera named by the S. Fran.co de Asis ayuntamiento as outside its jurisdiction.
