It sits on n30, one leaf past the grouped stretch under review (n16-n29), on a leaf whose OTHER documents are catalogued (orig pp. 59-62). It is a plain uncatalogued document at orig p. 63/64, continuing that page sequence, which the boundary read happened to surface. Heading verbatim: 'o 1787. Oct. 23. Arispe. / Com.dte gral Loyola al Gob.or Fages (Monterrey). (Indios)' [= 1787, October 23, Arispe. Commandant General Loyola to Governor Fages (Monterey). (Indians)] Body as written on the leaf: 'Por los oficios de vm. no 435 y 440 de 26 de Junio y 10 de Agosto ultimos quedo enterado de la general tranquilidad que se observa entre los Indios Cristianos y Gentiles que habitan en esa Peninsula.' Loyola states he is informed, by Fages's oficios nos. 435 and 440 of 26 June and 10 August, of the general tranquility observed among the Christian and Gentile Indians inhabiting that peninsula. The subject tag '(Indios)' is underlined in the heading. This belongs to a recurring 1787 series of such acknowledgments in this volume, but it is a distinct instance: the catalogued neighbours cite different oficio numbers and different dates (13 Sep 1787, oficios 421/423, orig p.70; 20 Jun 1787, oficio 411, orig p.88). I did not find the word 'Peninsula' glossed on the leaf itself, so I do not assert which peninsula is meant.
