Substance: quoted verbatim in full by Savage: 'No hay justificacion formal del delito de q.e está acusado el Indio de la Mis.n de S.n Gab.l Ant.º Planes, en haber solicitado enyerbar á otro de los de su misma clase.' [There is no formal proof of the crime of which the Indian of the Mission of San Gabriel, Antº Planes, is accused, of having sought to poison another of his own class.] This is the evidentiary follow-up to the arrest reported on n254 (Zuniga to Fages, 14 Oct 1788, p. 206, already in the export); different date, different page cite, and the finding is the opposite of the arrest.
