Prefect acknowledges Jimeno's assumption of command. Verbatim: 'La respetable nota de V.E. fecha de ayer me deja impuesto de que por hallarse enfermo el E.S. Dn Juan B. Alvarado, se encarga V.E. interinamte del mando del Departamto conforme al artº 8º fraccion 2da de la 6ª Ley Constitucional. Esta ocasion etª'. Gloss: formal acknowledgement and congratulation. Note the internal date friction: he calls it a note of 'ayer' (24 Sept.) though the calendared notes are dated 23 Sept. Marginal 'o'.
