Bárb.a hta. la de S.n Diego' — if frontier troops are at the presidio they take them; otherwise Ruiz names 'un C.o de su confianza con la tropa neces.a p.a q.e todo lo conduzca, y á entregar al Com.te de Frontera, q.n se hallará ya con las órden.s del Sr. Com.te Gral.' Gloss: 35 pack + 15 saddle mules gathered from the missions (Sta. Barbara to San Diego) forwarded to the Baja California frontier comandante under the Comandante General's orders — logistics coinciding with Echeandía's October 1825 arrival.
