Encloses his general order of 10 Jan 1789 so the ordenanza formulary be used for sergeant appointments, extended 'en las tropas de esa Península en la parte adaptable': 'al Capitan de Loreto le corresponde hacer los nombramientos de estos empleos en su compañia, y pasarlos á V.S. como Inspector para su aprobacion sin otro requisito'; where an ayudante inspector exists he must first attest 'el constante de su aptitud'. Companies lacking captains continue to send propuestas through their tenientes comandantes; the same resolution was sent direct to the Loreto captain.
