Full-leaf traced circular nocturnal star-clock. Savage's caption: 'te horóscopo se encontró entre varios docs., delineados p.r Fr. Luis Gil de la Mision de Sta Cruz — en el año de 1827.' Dial reads 'Cabeza. Mayo 1º' / 'Pié Noviembre 1º', with radial 'Línea marzo/Junio/Set.e/Dic.e 15'. Facing verso n236 explains it gives 'el conocimiento de las horas nocturnas por la situacion de las dos estrellas delanteras del Carro (Dipper) en la Osa Mayor, con respecto á la polar'; Gil omitted the hour of observation, assumed to be 10 at night.
