Full text verbatim: 'La adjta. copia á mi Decreto de esta fha. impondrá a Vm. de las justas causas qe. me han obligado á dividir en dos comandancias la Gral. de Provs. Internas, y el modo y tpo. en qe. debe hacerse esta importante division, á la qe. concurrirá Vm. en la parte qe. le toque.' Substance: the short covering despatch that transmits the decree, and the only piece in this stretch addressed directly to the governor of California. It is a distinct document from the long exposition that follows it on the same leaf (which is already in the catalog under the row scanned n60-n69) and it carries its own page cite.
