- Previously read summary: 'Monthly Aug; beach ranchería Indians baptized at SB mission without displacement; fiscal accounts'; orig_page: 'p.134–138'; scan: 'n243–244'. n243-n244 (stamps 247-248) carry the schoolmaster warned to improve or be replaced (p.145), the 25 pesos annual deduction per man for the fondo de retencion to a ceiling of 100 (p.146), the triplicated situado regulations for the Inspeccion (p.147), the sumarios de bulas of the biennium 92-93 with a copy of the diligencia (pp.148-149), and Javier Albarado writing from Los Angeles that 'en este pueblo no ocurre novedad que sea digna de participarle' (p.150). The claimed pp.134-138 are on neither leaf, and there is no beach-ranchería baptism material.
The originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
