Jail-break sequel to the Feb 12 case: 'El dia 8 del corriente hicieron fuga [Fusgam.to? see issues] de el calaboso los Dos Indios Neofitos de esta Misn. en compania del Indio Norberto'; searches failed, so 'se han encargado à los Gentiles Comarcanos para que den aviso pronto, ó los à apresen.' Soldier Crespín Perez kept 'preso con un par de Grillos' because he rode in from the Rancho del Ganado that same night (standing in for the absent Lisalde) and left his saddled horse in the woods, which the Indians took; gentiles above la Punta recovered it, the Alférez finding 'uno de los Gentiles herido por dho. Norberto'; two parties searched four days in vain.
