Per Fages's earlier resolution Zúñiga despatches them with a three-man party under 'Sargto. Raymundo Carrillo' to hand over to his lieutenant at the Presidio de Santa Barbara; he cannot spare a cabo (one continuously with the recua, the Alférez at San Gabriel, and 'el Sargto. Alvarado enfermo de unos nacidos').
